As a Youth Caregiver, you'll work as part of a multidisciplinary team to implement individualized service plans that support each youth's unique needs. Your responsibilities include supervising daily activities like meal planning, hygiene, and household routines while creating teachable moments that build confidence and competence. You'll provide transportation, assist with educational goals, manage healthcare needs, and help youth develop problem-solving and interpersonal skills.

The position emphasizes trauma-informed, culturally respectful care with awareness of Indigenous history, diversity, equity, and inclusion. You'll maintain detailed documentation, respond to critical incidents, and collaborate with social workers, teachers, and other community partners to ensure each youth's safety, growth, and well-being.

We seek candidates with a high school diploma minimum (college diploma in Child and Youth Care or Bachelor's degree in Social Work/Psychology preferred) and two or more years of experience in child and youth care. You must have a valid BC driver's license, clear criminal record check, and strong written and oral communication skills. Computer literacy and experience with residential facility operations are essential.
